At the FIPSAS Italian Underwater Photography Championships, in the Tremiti islands on September 2009, I got 1st place overall in the Compact Camera category and also:
- 1st place Wide Angle with Model category
- 1st place Fish category
This was my first competition and the beginning of my agonistic career in underwater photography
